The landscape of the surroundings of the lower flow of the river Váh will be considerably affected by realization of the project navigability of Váh in this section. The most intensive influences on the biotic component will have changes in the flow of the river Váh and the underground waters changes. With regard to these facts, the inventarization of the landscape elements was performed in the territory of presumptive changes in the surroundings of Váh. Individual smaller territories were arranged according to their ecological significance into five degrees (from the very low to the very high) and were characterized in detail. At the same time in five of them was arranged their vulnerability with regard to the prepared changes of water regime in the river Váh. Particular influences were more exactly identified and there were proposed some measures for their elimination or moderation at least.
